At Holy Trinity Church of England (A) School, our admissions arrangements are designed to reflect and support our Christian vision:

As a Church of England school serving children from Years 3 to 6, we are committed to providing an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child is valued as an individual and given the opportunity to thrive. Our admissions policy seeks to balance our responsibility to serve the local community with our distinctive Christian character.

Our vision is inspired by Jesus' Parable of the Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31–32), which reminds us that from the smallest beginnings can come remarkable growth and flourishing. We believe that every child has unique gifts and potential. Through our admissions arrangements, we aim to welcome children who will benefit from and contribute to our caring school community, enabling them to grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

The admissions criteria support our commitment to:

• Serving our local community, ensuring that children living within the school's catchment area have access to high-quality education close to home.
• Maintaining our Christian foundation, recognising the importance of the Church of England's role in establishing and sustaining the school while welcoming families from all faith backgrounds and those of no faith.
• Promoting inclusion and fairness, applying admissions arrangements transparently and equitably in accordance with the School Admissions Code.
• Supporting continuity of education, particularly for children transferring from our feeder infant school, Marlow CE Infant School, and those with siblings already attending the school.
• Providing opportunities for all children to flourish, regardless of background, reflecting our belief that every child is created in the image of God and deserves to be nurtured, encouraged and valued.

Like the mustard seed in the parable, we recognise that children arrive with different experiences, strengths and needs. Our admissions arrangements seek to create a diverse and welcoming community where all pupils can put down roots, develop confidence and resilience, and grow into individuals who positively contribute to the life of the school and the wider world.

Through these arrangements, Holy Trinity remains committed to being a school where every child is welcomed with love, encouraged to achieve their potential, and supported to flourish in every aspect of their development.

New Admission Arrangements for 2026 to 2027

The Office of the Schools Adjudicator has approved an in-year variation to the school's determined admissions arrangements for September 2026, reducing the Published Admission Number (PAN) for entry into Year 3 to 64.  

This variation has been made as a direct consequence of the closure of Little Marlow CE School, which will close on 31^st August 2026, following which Marlow CE School will become the school's designated feeder school. The school intends to apply for a further in-year variation for the 2027–2028 academic year and will undertake a formal consultation during the autumn term of 2026 on proposals to make this reduction permanent from September 2028.

In addition, approval has been granted to amend the oversubscription criteria to give priority to children who were on roll at Little Marlow CE School at the start of the 2025–2026 academic year, including those who subsequently transferred to another school as a result of the closure.

This transitional arrangement is intended to ensure that families affected by the closure of Little Marlow CE School are not disadvantaged in accessing their established transfer pathway to Holy Trinity CE (A) School.
