Diwali Celebrations

Thanks to a wonderful member of the class, 5T had a great afternoon experiencing some of the activities involved in the celebrations of Diwali. After a fantastic presentation (and asking lots of questions!) they were taught to make paper lanterns for decorations. They then went outside and made their very own Rangoli patterns using coloured rice to 'welcome the Goddess Lakshmi'. It was wonderful to learn more about the festival and the Rangoli patterns turned out really well!
